Just a little introduction ...

I just stumbled onto the site and liked what I saw for information. A fortunate accident I guess.

I took a 5 year vacation from fitness and sports; (I played hockey and football in highschool, and was a defensive tackle at a small university) to be a depressed alcoholic and binge eater, a bad combination for your physique to say the least.

I have been working hard for the last 6 months or so lost about 9 inches on the waist, and made alot of gains in strength tone and endurance, but still have many more inches to go and work to do. I mostly joined so I could post any questions about the nutrition and training information I read, but figured it would be a good idea to give a little introduction.
