Just an update on my drug use..
I have taken modalert for the last few days and I have been having this weird stomach pain. Kind of like indigestion or something. Like I want to burp, but can't.
I'm not sure if it is reacting with some of the nootropics I have been taking, the coffee I drink or what.
The sensation comes later, four hours or more after taking 100-200mg, and persists into the late afternoon. Taking it before or after eating makes no difference.
I have been eating well, with plenty of fiber etc.
ALCAR,Piracetam,Alpha-GPC,Taurine,ALA.. these are my usual daily supps lately. I took a day off of these and took modalert only, and still had this problem..

Yesterday it was to the point that the discomfort was just making me feel weak and distracted.
I'm going to lay off for a while, as it does seem like it is a cumulative problem that gets worse if I take it several days in a row.
I did read that this is one of the less common side effects, too bad for me. I have never heard this complaint before..
I wish I understood why this drug does this...

I have not been sleepy at all since i started taking it and yet it is only slightly more difficult to fall asleep. I have also noticed that when I wake up I feel like it is later than it really is. Today I went to bed at 1am and woke at 8am but felt like it was much later. I think im just not used to it shortening my sleep.

Also, the last few days I have had great workouts. It seems to help alot in lowereing percieved effort.
I also took 12mg of ephedrine and did heavy squats friday. Adding ephedrine wasn't anything special.

I ordered 100X100mg (Modalert) Modafinil tabs from healthpluspharmacy.com fro $64.00 free ship. These are Sun Pharma
They took about 20 days to arrive.
I have never tried adrafinil or any other brand of modafinl.
They definitely have a stimulating effect, reminiscent of amphetamine but only slightly.
"I have more ideas but the days are too short and go by so fast"
This phrase describes how it makes me feel..
100mg at a time is enough for me, twice a day at best. (150lbs).
Hypnoracetam mentioned in another post a "coldness", not physically but emotionally.
I understand what he meant, kind of just a robotic stimulation, rather than euphoric.
I feel a kind of tense or wound tightly after being on it for a few days and sleep does not feel as deep.
The effects for me almost seem stronger after a few consecutive days of use.
I got some headaches and weird stomach discomfort, though this may have been due to poor food choices...
It keeps me moving and this keeps me from being depressed about lack of productivity. I work at home all day and it's easy to get sidetracked or lazy.
I like it, but am not sure if it's something I should be taking everyday.
If you try stop drinking coffee and take this instead, it's kind of weird, I still needed a little coffee to feel normal.
I would rather take this than any antidepressant..although it's stimulating it also mellows me out in a weird way..
my 2, 3 and 4 cents..
Anyone ever take AMP with modafinil? I just got some

Physically now I am a little worn out (however not more than I would expect to be considering) and I have been wide awake since noon which is somewhat unusual.

I can't say for sure but based on others experiences I'd be willing to bet that at least my modalert contains modafinil.
