" I know that in some cases women can't "get it up" (get wet) and that is an extreme libido loss (like erectile disfunction in men). "

That post a while back made something come to mind, fellas. And that is, as a woman, libido is obviously much different than men and that while I can get "wet", that doesn't always mean I'm "horny". The two are definitely not always directly related. With a lot of women there is a strong mental power that drives the labido. I would say a philosophy on the lines of "seduce my mind and you can have my body" (-unknown). I'm speaking from a stand point of us strong willed women of course, not all women are as hard to please. But that gives you some direction.

As for the supplimentation, are the aforementioned more "physical" stimulants?

Spook how do you even measure 25-50mg in the first place. Measuring out 200-300mg is a chore if it's own (with a gram scale) and Im not sure if you are risky enough to measure via mixing in product with other fillers and dividing by amount of caps.

I have a chemical balance good for 5 sig figs. So its no big deal for me to measure it out. I would think cutting with filler would be the only way to go if you did not own such a device. I can say from measuring the powder out that it is an extremely small dose. About the size of the tip of a McDonalods coffe stirer. You know the kind that look like a little tiny boat oar. So I supose you could just try to eyeball it.

What the male minds here mostly fail to comprehend is that the female libido is a complex of psychology and physiology, more complex and intertwined than the typical male. The male brain operates differently than the female brain, and men generally respond more physically to a different set of cues than women. For example, men are more visually stimulated than women, women are more emotionally stimulated than men. There are evolutionary reasons for this: the male donates his sperm whenever and where ever he can to perpetuate his genes. Women have the primary responsibility for carrying the fetus for months and then nurturing the offspring for years. They have a long-term commitment, men don't.

It is not unusual for the male to stay in a relationship because he gets laid whenever he wants (so he thinks) and the female bears his offspring, whereas the female stays because her male counterpart's resources insure survival of her and her offspring. It's a mutual convenience. The two genders have evolved to respond differently to perpetuate the species. (why do you think marriage became the approved institution?)

Brain chemistry is different, cognitive function even differs; the female body AND mind respond to stimuli, not just the lower plumbing. What works for men doesn't neccessarily guarantee success in women. Of course, there are outliers for both sexes (I tend to be more male-type and I've met men who are more female than some women). I'm sure most of you men have had some experience with trying to figure out what works and what doesn't. Women do, too. But why do you think that most of the libido drugs that work for men don't work for women?

Because a simple pill is not the answer. Try a different approach.

Hey Spook. Can you do me a favor and tell me in Teaspoons? I'm thinking that it's around 1/4 teaspoon. I don't have a scale.

This is true, when only comparing to the cliché. In all truth there is no major difference between the psychology and physiology in males and females. If you think there is, then obviously you have no clue to the workings of either psychology or physiology.

Here's a hint, do you really think men are turned on by visual stimulus? Or is it that the visual stimulus is an anchor to an emotion?

I just took 1500mg and dissolved it in 30ml of olive oil, gives 50mg per ml, measure with a dropper or oral syringe.

In response to you, Roy, I agree with Labrat that men are aroused by visual stimulus and women emotional.

In my psych readings I found that scientist collaborated on a project to study neural responses to visual sexual stimuli. In order to do this, they use Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (FMRI), a technique for measuring brain activation using an MRI scanner. This technique capitalizes on the fact that increased neural activity requires increased blood flow; changes in blood flow show up on the FMRI scans.

They found 5 areas of the brain to be highly active during the "visually stimulating" pictures vs. the "non-visually stimulating" pictures;
1)the inferior temporal cortex (for assessing and analyzing the visual stimulus, corresponding to the perceptive-cognitive component of sexual arousal).
2)the right orbitofrontal cortex, which might be related to emotional and motivational phenomena.
3)the left anterior cingulate cortex, which appears to control primary physiological responses (endocrine and autonomic), but also affective responses, to sexual stimuli.
4)the right insula, that is involved in subjective perception of physiological modifications associated with arousal (heart rate acceleration, penile erection, etc.)
5)the right caudate nucleus controls whether sexual arousal is followed by sexual activity. The testosterone level rose very strongly during the sexually explicit film; it also increased slightly during the comedy sequence. These results may throw light on the neurophysiological bases of sexual arousal dysfunctions, which may take the form of sexual apathy or, on the contrary, pathological hyperactivity leading to deviant behavior such as rape.

So, anyway, like I was saying, ROY... men are visually stimulated.

Are you a moron or a retard?

You can sit here all day long and spout off anything you want about visual stimulus versus emotional, but it will not get you any further ahead.

Question, how do you trigger an emotional response? Think long and hard about this one (but don't have a genius attack).

If you don't understand anchors, look up pavlov. The stimulus is irrelevant (and can be changed) it is the anchor to the emotion which is important.
