Great read! Answered a couple of questions I didn't receive answers to from Dr.
Testosterone is a muscle-building hormone and there are many testosterone-receptor sites in the heart. The weakening of the heart muscle can sometimes be attributed to testosterone deficiency. Testosterone is not only responsible for maintaining heart muscle protein synthesis, but it is a promoter of coronary artery dilation and helps to maintain healthy cholesterol levels.
so the heart being a muscle is affected "growth" wise by elevated levels os test?>
Thanks for this info, very helpful
A lot of good points. Like how a surplus of estrogen is just as bad as a deficit of testosterone, and how the two are linked not only by direct conversion within the peripheral fats, but by receptor cross binding. Nice read, man.
Very good info
The number one reason that mens test gets low is because of modern machinery. Before cars mens test was high into old age.And tv and computers.Men always are seaking ways to make life easier and in the process making men lazier.Sitting in front of the computer all day wacking off and watching tv all day and driving every where you go.Just think have you ever worked hard all day.And im talking hard physical labor. And came home and wanted to have sex more then normal. Now try sitting all day and watching tv all day then notice that you are not into sex as much. Now if men want to really stay horney all the time and live a long life we would get ride of are cars and do what fred mercury from queen said get on your bikes and ride. And walk and or run every where you go and have a job that is lobor intensive. Then your test would always be naturally high well into your 80s.But are society will never do that and im not about to anytime soon.So that's why im here. But ive done this before when I was 30.And I was never depressed.Horny as a three peckered billy goat. And healty as a horse.
great info
Thank you. This is great info, and very helpful. It's the kind of information about TRT that I've been looking for. I may order Dr. Shippen's book.
What is a typical HRT dosing range for a 200 lb male, 58 years old, whose free and total T are very close to the low end of the 'normal' range? When you first start taking T, about how long before your body begins to benefit from the effects?

Hi old_man, I'm by no means an expert in this, but from what I've read and seen, it appears that most US doctors start their patients around 0.8cc per week of 200mg/ml Test C. From there, it's trial and error. They'll usually test your blood after 6 weeks or so, and see where the level is. If it's too low, they increase the dosage until you find the right spot. The right dosage for me appears to be 1cc/week, which gets my levels right to where my doctor wants them. Of course, it's a moving target because your body changes, so your doctor will have you come in for tests at least every 6 months or so, to make sure everything is okay. It's my understanding that it takes about 3-4 weeks to get the full effects. I started noticing improvements at 2 weeks, and by 4 weeks, I was feeling great. My doctor's office gives DEXA scans to help monitor body composition to track progress. In the first 3 months that I was on 1cc of Test, I added 12 pounds of lean muscle. My body fat percentage dropped from 16% to 13%. For a 3 month period, I was really pleased. And I got my energy back, which is a amazing.
Give me an advice here please I use test 400 for 3 months and my cycle is about to finish I want to do post cycle but couldn't find anywhere so am thinking to do testaplex E250 but I don't know if I need to wait or what to do

I'd say this is largely pseudoscience. If you actually worked a hard labour job like I did for years, you'd know that when you come home you want dinner, and to lay down and fall asleep. What did I do for labour? Construction, 10 hour days, digging... always bloody digging. I hated it. The reason mens T is lower may be because they are inactive, but we've always known this, activity raises T, but being active doesn't guarantee normal T numbers.
Children of all ages and genders, in this day and age are exposed to more chemicals and exogenous hormones than any decade previous. The biggest issue being dairy milk. The cows that produce the milk that we all drink are pumped full of estrogen daily to inflate their udders with milk and there are still traces of these hormones throughout the milk when it enters our body. Not minuscule traces, but high enough levels to cause higher estrogen levels in boys, leading to gyno. and higher estrogen in females, in-turn leading to them turning into women quicker. How often did an 8 year old get her first period in the 1920s? Happens a hell of a lot in 2025, I know that. How often did our fathers and grandfathers see boys of 13 with gyno? My father knew one kid. I could not count the amount I knew, it's ridiculous.
Another reason for Men's loss of T as age goes on simply evolution. We are not meant to live to 100, we are meant to live to 40 at best. It makes sense:
- T levels rise coming into adult hood, father is in his prime.
- We are approaching the phase before our prime, father's T levels starting to drop. He's getting weaker, slower and the opposite for us.
- We reach our prime, our father is past it, in fact, he is a shadow of himself.
- We carry on, bigger and stronger, to lead, protect possible mates and to spread our seed after the father has died or been killed.
You have to remember we are not made to live in the world we do, we are animals.
This is some off the cuff shit, I can't keep writing though, too hot here.
HI
Thanks for your post

Looking for some help. I'm looking for trt and wondered if your local doctor can test blood and handle this or are most going through one of the rejuvenation clinics. I can't seem to find a doctor in my area prescribing but the demographic here is very old...any help would be appreciated
