I thought Id post this up so I could save someone's hair before its too late!
Ive been using aas since 2000. I noticed minor hairloss during the cycles and almost immediate regrowth of hair during the break. I foolishly thought that was good enough to stay constantly on and not see any permanent loss. So It took 2.5 years to really sink in that I was losing a massive amount of hair!
I started using Proscar (1/4 tab a day) about 8 months ago and noticed hairs wouldnt fall out anymore. In 2 months the "lost" started coming back. I stopped the long ass cycle and had even more progress. I now have a huge amount of hair come back in very thick and the appearance of thinning has been reduced to the point that I can barely notice it closely in the mirror under bright light.
I still have "baby hairs" in the front hairline and scattered about that are coming in. They will probably thicken up as well.
Ive become a believer of Finestride! Ive got alot of size and strength that naturals dont have so Im done with the heavy useage. Its just Anavar and very low test for any cycles.
If anyone else is in the same boat you may want to try Proscar! I didnt because everyone would slam it without actually trying it! I wish I tried it years ago! What do you have to lose?

the only reason i never tried it is because i heared it messes with your sex drive. have you experienced this?

Yes. I dont think its the proscar though. Its the lack of at least 250mg test e every ten days! LOL! Im still recovering from that long cycle though. I think its worth a try. Im going to stay on the Proscar another 3 months before going off to see how I feel while Im still off cycle to know for sure.

I started noticing more hair coming off on the hairbrush after I started using 1000mg/week of test. Ive been using liquid Finesteride at 1mg/day for about the last 8 months, and the hairloss stopped. No adverse effect on the sex drive. The 1000mg of test still makes me hornier than a 3 peckered jackrabbit.

Guys, I thought I was doing good for a 3 month supply at 90$~ $1 a day for Proscar name brand. Well, now I get it for $55 for a 3 month supply. Thats just a tad over 60 cents a day! Im very happy with this product! Im going to stop in about 6 months to see if any loss occurs. If not, Im thinking of taking a whole tab of Proscar a day along with some Test and some damn oral for next summer!
EDIT! I thought I would also mention that my sex drive isnt suffering anymore. I believe my body recovered and the boys are pumping thier own test without interuption!

I got a script and buy at the local pharmacy. Its generic finistride. Im currenty off aas and my sex drive aint hurting one bit. Its insane how much hair came back

I've been using finasteride for about a year now and the thinning hair on the back of my head has come waaaaay back. It's still a little thin so I bumped my dosage from 1mg to 2.5mg and the only difference I've noticed in sex drive is that I only want it 3 times in a row now instead of 5 (unless I'm on cycle then that goes right out the door). So it's a win-win situation, I get my hair back and the old lady's cooch gets a break.

Well i don't want to rain on anyones parade, but i've been on Propecia for over six months now. My hair has stopped falling out, but i have'nt noticed much coming back. My sex drive definitely has been afected, as i can go a week and not think about it. Not everyone responds to propecia or proscar. From what i read, give it about a year to see if it works for you. I've also been on trt for a year, whether that hurts or not. I hope i can regrow some of my hair.

Its true. Finistride doesnt have a 100% success rate.
Brewe, Part of your lack of result might have been that you were still on test. When I go back on test IM going to take a whole tab a day- just to keep my hair.
I believe you would have better results for hair regrowth/hair shaft thickening without the test. If youve been on test for a long time or have suffered ED on/off over the years you'll have to decide whats more important.
I suffered a horrible sex drive (but then again I was alone) I decided my hair was more important. I got used to not being on test while being on proscar. Matt Jr. is fully functional LOL

I have been on proscar for about 3 months now. It's working even though I'm on a heavy test cycle.
