I am planing on running a ckd diet for 8 to 10 weeks. But I was wondering about the workout scedual. I workout westside, except I dont have set workout days, my scedual changes alot.

Should I change my workouts?

and do you guys have any suggestion or advice when on a ckd diet?

I am 235lbs, lean muscle mass is 183lbs, I am looking to drop 30lbs.

Thanks
Dave

I don't see how you could continue to workout westside while on a ckd. I would invest in the book bodyopus. Bodyopus will give you a good understanding of how a ckd works, and the workout info you need.

Try to stick to lower reps while on a keto diet. I found that this works well, you don't cause the hypertrophy to your muscles that higher reps in the 8-10 rep range will cause, be carefull not to train to failure and you should be able to increase your strength while on the diet. All my sets were in the 3-5 rep range while I did it and every lift went up. I found also supplementing with a BCAA drink durring my workout worked well to reduce muscle breakdown and preserve muscle. I don't think it impeeded my fat lose at all, i think it improves it. It was called Glutacene.

Sorry i forgot to add i know westside is all lower rep traing, however i don't know if you would be able to keep that type of intensity up, you may also might not want to do some of their principles. Although I used their speed reps principle and it worked well for my power
