Ptren vs. MTren: Let me start by saying I'm super interested in PTren if it is what its supposed to be and does what its supposed to.

PTRN is not as strong as MTR. MTR is the strongest steroid ever, period. The problem with MTR is the liver toxicity -- if taken orally -- but injecting it avoids that problem.

PTREN and MTR are made orally available by the addition of the prop group and the methylgroup respectively. These groups are added to the exact same position on the tren molecule. The only difference between "regular" tren and MTR is the addition of one methyl group. That is a very small modification to the molecule but it increases the potency 50-100X.

I would not be surprised if using the larger prop group (propyl is bigger then methyl) ruins much of that increased potency. Ask yourself: why is methyl-amphetamine more popular than propyl-amphetamine (rarely mentioned)? Those small changes alter the effect and not always in the direction of increased potency.

Also if PTren were so great then I wonder why Negma (the original manufacturer of tren) did not go with that when they saw all their R&D money go down the toilet when MTR turned out to be too toxic to be approved for human use. Drug companies routinely test many different variations of the target molecule to find the molecule with the best benefit/side effect profile. When they decided to make an alkylated version of tren (alkylation means attaching a carbon chain) I am almost certain they tried various options (methyl, ethyl, propyl, etc) but they decided to pursue the methylated molecule rather than the molecule with propyl added to it. There must have been a reason for that.

WOULD LOVE to see some labwork on it. There is no point discussing it too much unless it really is much less liver toxic than MTR. I'm going to see if I can get some labs run.

Finally, the suggestion that any kind of tren increases cardio fitness seems very suspect. If anything, tren has a reputation for DESTROYING cardio ability.

All of the above leaves me really up in the air about PTRen. A not outrageously liver toxic oral tren that is significantly more potent than injectable Tren would be impossible to keep in stock. Wouldnt just about every AAS user you know LOVE to have such a thing? We used to sell MTR in caps but stopped because the risk of someone ODing on Trencandy was just too great, when we sold it the demand was what you would expect - INSATIABLE.

If PTren is really an option for TrenCaps we are VERY interested and we will be looking into this immediately.

All of what you said is true AY but the only thing is AS2 claims ptren to be PROPIONYLtrenbolone. the PROPIONYL group is NOT a propyl group. Any group ending in -yl (ethyl, propyl, butyl, methyl, etc) are derived from alkanes whereas groups like formyl, acetyl, and propionyl are acyl groups.

a methyl group is CH3 attached to tren and propionyl group is a CO-

and the propionyl group does make the drug bioavailable orally and has shown increased absorption/effects in other drugs (I dont know of any direct unbiased studies with propionyltrenbolone as I'm sure there arent any)

Also, I have yet to try methyltrienolone. Maybe I'd give it a run for yo AY :winkfinger:

Was considering it soon anyway at about 750mcg/day injected

You know that I am agressive on dosing. A friend of mine will be run ing this leading into a huge strength competition. Running two vials at 1ml (3mg) ED injected with day 15 the first day of the competition.

It would be cool to see before and after blood work on MTR injected, I wouldn't really mind it on oral either might be cool to get both from the same person with a recovery break in between

Just thinking out loud.

The guys we know that use it LOVE it.

I know the difference between alkyl and acyl groups 🙂 My description was a bit sloppy - sorry about that. My main point was meant to be the size of the group. There are two separate issues here: (1) oral bioavailability and (2) drug potency. A good drug has to have both. A potent drug that can't make it to it's target is useless (the problem with a lot of cancer drugs), but perfect bioavailability is also useless in itself if the modification that increases absorption results in, for example, poor receptor binding. It just so happens that the methyl group on MTR does both: it increases oral bioavailability and it also greatly enhances receptor binding. I suspect that the propionyl group causes a decrease in receptor binding relative to MTR -- the question is: how much less? No one knows.

And, of course, then there is still the issue of hepatotoxicity. I can't remember the exact reason why methylation at the C17 carbon fucks with the liver, but if the claim is that propionyl rather than methyl at C17 is much safer then I would like to see proof of that. Which is something we are going to get to work on.

So we are now talking about a different compound entirely. My organic chemistry knowledge is nil so I will wait for those more learned to chime in. I just want to run it and find out if it is all that and a bag of chips.

You might look like you had a few bags of chips after your run of it.

Shit is useless.
