So it would appear that clomid has a half-life of 5-7 days when taken orally. If this is the case, why is the common recomendation to take it daily?

All SERM's and NSAI all have long half-lives (+2 days). Didn't Anthony Roberts write somewhere a fairly compelling position that these two classes of meds are usually overdosed in AAS using males? Bump for the original question.

I can certainly understand why people get side effects from using 50-100mg of clomid/day...by the end of the week you would have accumulated a pretty good charge of pseudoestrogen. Dunno about Roberts but I know Dr. John was advocating no more than 25mg/day and I suspect that's a pretty good number and you might be able to go EOD at that.

Interesting. Where can I find Dr. John's info?

Do a search here under username Dr. John and he has posted extensively on other boards as Swale. He is something of an HRT guru.
