Weekends off on the Diet???

I just wanted to see how many people in here get nutty on the weekend as far as their eating habits go. I don't know about you guys but I absolutely LOSE IT on the weekend. The cocktails get to me....thats one way...but I am probably one of the worst junk food addicts out of anyone. Here's what my Saturday consisted of from what I remember:
5 pan cakes, sausage
then I went to White Castle and Dairy Queen!!! lol
Two medium blizzards(one was supposed to be my dads...whoops!!!)
8 white castle hamburgers
1 icecream bar
1 huge Kit Kat
Couple pieces of pizza before bed!!!

I'm sure some things are missing, but thats what I remember. Funny huh??? I have a really bad sweet tooth...luckily my metabolism is pretty good. I tried to make it up with 45mins of cardio today...but its hard to put a dent in about 6,000 calories from the past day!!! LMAO Oh well, gotta have calories to retain muscle right???

I have done this when trying to put on weight but never during a cut cycle. What is it that you're trying to do with your workouts, gain mass, gain strength, gain fat?
Notice there is nothing in there that says lose. Think about it the next time you put a sausage in your mouth πŸ™‚ just kidding

If you’re going to do this and you can’t stop it, get onto a thermogenic like an ECA stack or T2 (I think I read this was ban by the FDA for over-the- counter sale but it dropped the fat fast). This isn’t going to be a cure to the habit but a way to help suppress the desire to gorge.

Hell, I thought this was going to be a funny post but nobody wants to write anything....thats horseshit!!! lol kidding.
To answer your question jchurch, I am trying to get diced for the summer. I'm straight as an arrow Monday-Friday, but OMG do I lose it on the weekends sometimes. I know this is not the way to drop weight, I just thought it was funny and I wanted to see how many people were in the same boat as I am.
I guess I'm just a freak since nobody can relate to me!!! And believe it or not I've been taking the grand ol' ECA stack everyday since I was a senior in HS about 5 years ago. I probably have an enlarged heart and all that great stuff. I just got a physical last summer and up to this point I'm good to go. I may not use the ECA stack everyday, but guaranteed I don't EVER walk into the gym unless I'm bouncing off of walls. It just makes the experience so much more fun for me!!!

I am a firm believer in cheat meals, or "days"... keeps you sane, and IMO shocks your metabolism from the extreme change from low calories to high calories... have fun... might wanna try the "Chocolate Thunder from Down Under" at Outback steakhouse... πŸ˜€

Thanks BigKap that was more the answer I was looking for. At least someone here is honest and yes I also believe in cheat days. I'll have to look into that "Chocolate Thunder from DownUnder" lol

I cheat on weekends right up till 2wks out from a show and have never[knock on wood] placed out of the top 4.Now I have a high metabolism,some like my wife,should only have 1 cheat day.But I am a firm believer that it keeps your metabolism reved.

of course in the spirit of competition i''m going to have to one up you on this one bro, not that it's something to be proud of. here's what a typical binge day is for yours truly. I live in cali now so there aren't any white castles but god do we have burritos!!!so i'll like to start the day off right with about 2 burritos(el famous size!) and mabey a quesadilla if i'm feeling naughty, then on the way home the sweet tooth will hit so i'll stop for ice cream this is where it get's worse, i have trouble deciding which pint of ben and jerrys to get so i'll get like 3 of em!!! or mabey just a half gallon of mint chocolate chDragon Pharma is nice too. and consume all the ice cream. at this point the guilt will set in and i'll decide that that's it for the day.........about 4 hours later i'll hit up bk for a couple double whoppers wit cheese!!! AND A CHOCOLATE SHAKE! the wierd thing is when i do this after being good on a diet for a while i relly don't gain too much weight if it's a whole day ordeal. i think mabey my body doesn't know what the hell is going on so i just take a few monster dumps and move on with the diet.

I do the same damn thing in the off-season -- helps maintane your sanity. I eat extremely clean during the week knowing exactly how much protein, carbs and fat I am eating. On the weekends I tend to do whatever I want in the eating department. However, I do make sure that I still get a sufficient amount of protein on the weekends. I personally feel we need this to keep our metabolisms functioning properly. Hell, when I am getting ready for a show, I have one cheat meal a week until about 6 weeks out. After that I still have what I call calculated cheat meals where I manipulate the hell out of my carbs. Don't sweat it bros -- just make sure you are still getting your protein in. However, if you trying to getting to diced up for the summer, I would consider backing off from all day eating binges to one cheat meal on Saturday and one on Sunday.
