quick question for a few of you out there. If anyone has tried one of these HRT clinics, or online companies offering these services. What is the typical dosage they recommend, and what? Just curious. Are these companies trying to help or just sell?

The clinic I went to meant well but IMO was very inconsistent. They would range my doses from 200mg to 140mg after each 6 week BW. If it went high, they would drop it way down which would lead to a lower reading on the next test, which meant they would raise it back up after the next BW. Plus, they were not cheap.

Why, no insurance? Use a DR. if you can #1 choice.. Having a Dr. who is at least a little bit informed or open to the subject is much better than you with only a little bit of information.. However if you don't have that option available to you then educate yourself with as much information as you can find on TRT, and then.... One can easily obtain their own lab work, and there are enough sources available for whatever your needs are...

Endo, Internist (dr. of internal medicine), DP, whatever. Bottom line find one that will be open to your thoughts on the subject and willing to work with you... More and more you will find dr's who are open to trying TRT with you.. Many times you will be more informed than they are..Thing is find one you can have an open relationship with and not just takes what you say, gives their opinion and moves you back out the door... If you are dissatisfied by one then get another...

At the very least having a Dr who will order basic labs and write you prescriptions is one you can work with and hopefully both of you will be better off down the road.. If you are low test it should not be a problem and if your dr says its normal dont worry about it is living in the dark ages you don't want him/her anyway...

Average dose- depending on the informality- it's 150 every 10 days on TRT from Endo
