Looking into taking branch chained amino acids??? Need info!!!!Do I still need them eventhough I'm taking meal replacement drinks??? I am taking glutamin now. HELP!!!!!!
there's no reason you'd need them if your protein intake is adequate.
i take aminos usually in between meals and before and after training.
if i have a meal low in protein i'll take a handful.
about 2-3 gms each serving.
The essentials; leucine.isoluecine and valine make up the branch chains. These are always good to take after you lift, a nice cheep way to get these and complete proteins is egg whites.
read the side of the protein drink. look at all those amino acids...mmmm amino acids. eat lots of protein and you will be fine.
