I'm tweaking my supplement schedule and want an opinion on the best time to take creatine. Empty stomach in the morning, 30 mins pre-workout, or 30 mins post-workout? Thoughts?
Creatine takes a while to get into your system & do it's job. Other than the fact that things absorb better post workout I don't think it really matters.
If you take it on e an empty stomach, it might upset you..I know it bothered me when I took it on an empty stomach.
I used to take 5g 30 minutes pre and 5g post (within 15-20 min).

Same thing happened to me when taking on an empty stomach. Like Storm said it takes a while to absorb so I don't think it is very critical.
