Ok...I just read the CKG diet guidline thing and it sounds great. Except I know that there is no way that I can keep track of my diet like that. I just don't have time during the day. I work long hours during the day and then come home and have to take care of all my wifely duties, and then find the time and energy to work out. I have my moments of wanting to give up!!! I watch my calorie intake and try to cut back on charbs (which is definately my weakness!) What is the least amount of calories I can eat a day with out doing more harm than good? I'm at the 150lb. mark.
Especially since I just got off a cycle of clen, and "Winnie" (10mlg. a day). That definately helped my muscle gain, but I want to loose size!! What can I do that isn't so damn time consuming...is there anything? Or am I just asking for a damn miracle? I have to squeeze my fat ass in to a bathing suit soon!!!! Help!

I tried doing the CKD and gained weight (fat)! Cutieface does it and seems to have great success. What's worked in the past for me was the Atkins. Dieselgirl told me to do it again. I know BB are always anti Atkins. I did drop serious weight and got down to 13% BF. Then you don't have to choke on chicken breasts til the end.:lol Besides, I think it's body fat you talking about not 'size.' I hear ya girl. Now I'm going to get on the eliptical for an hour before I eat.

Thanks for the advice. I was thinking about doing the atkins.........but I had heard so many mixed opinions on it. But hey , everything is worth a shot. Right now I am just about desperate......my time is running out and I had to go shopping for bathing suits last night. :lol Talk about an awful experience.

I'll make it real simple for ya:

3 times a day consume a protein shake mixed in water......nothing else.

1time a day(mornings) consume 6 whole eggs with 1 slice of your favorite cheese.

1 time a day consume 1-1.5 cups of cottage cheese with 1 serving of your favorite fruit.

1 time a day consume 1 chicken breast, 1 can of tuna or beef the size of your hand with a small salad and 1-2 tables spoons of your favortie salad dressing.

Consume 1 gallon of water everyday.
Follow this for 2 weeks and you'll see how a little bit of effort will go so far.

Just to make things a little easier, this is what a day would look like:

6:00am- 6 whole eggs
9:00am- Protein shake
12:00pm- 1 can of Tuna and salad
3:00pm- Protein shake
6:00pm- Cottage chesse and fruit
9:00pm- Protein shake

Next day do it again.

Notice that there is NO bread, pasta, rice ect!!! Watch how much fruit you have and it's very imprortant to pay close attention to the timing! Every three hours. Don't wait till your hungry and don't eat untill you are full. I swear by the atkins. I truly believe that sugar is our enemy. The first 10 weeks of my contest diet is atkins (I start this 20 weeks out from my show) and I continue to put muscle on as well as lean up. Then the last 10 weeks are just smooth sailing. Take the time for yourself to write down what you eat in a notebook..note the time, protien, carbs, and fat. Every once in a while take note of how many calories...multiply carbs by 4, protien by 4 and fat by 9. Try to keep the sugar down to under 20grams. You have to do cardio..to burn fat the most effective way is to do it before you eat and then eat (or have a shake) immediatley afterwards...also if you are going to have fruit or sugar it's best to have that immediatley after training. Take the time out for #1 (you) cause nobody else will. P.S. I also work full time and I'm a single mom of two...no excuses!!!

THanks for the advice everyone. 🙂 So I have no exuse. If you can be that dedicated as a single mom and all I guess I should be able to too. How do you find the evergy? I definately have to cut out sugar!! It's not the food that much that kills me it's the alchohol. THis week so far I have been good. It's only Wednesday though. HAHA!
Has anyone tried that low-charb beer? Is it worth tasting? I mean I know I shouldn't drink any..........but what if I just wanted one for the taste. Like a fix. LOL!

My brother plays softball and he and his buddies used to go out like 3 or 4 times a week to the bar. Now he goes home. About once a month he has the low carb Michelob (I think is the brand)He said after going so long w/out it's not so bad. I had a beer in Aug before that it was about 3 years or so. Lots of sugar in that stuff! by the way..he went on Atkins that's why he went no alcohol (besides the fact that his blood pressure was out the roof) and he lost 60lbs, was taken off most of the bp med's and his reflux prob went away completely.

Katz, pineapples are awesome in taste and are great for improved digestion, so is papaya.

To answer your question, 8 ounces of diced fresh pineapple would equal a serving. This serving will contain 0g of protein, 0g of fat and 9g of carbs........a very good choice to go with cottage cheese.
