Ideal BF% before starting a cycle

So bottom line is, it is all depending on your goals or preference. Now I do believe someone who is out of shape who has a high BF % should work on their meal plan and workout regime first along with studying up on gear before using.

This is all coming from a newbie...i haven't used yet because i feel i am not ready yet. My BF is around 18% and I would like to see it lower before i start, but i still have so many questions about what to eat during a cycle, what to eat after a cycle. What are all of the side effects i could possibly face and how to deal with them....which is why i joined this forum....still learning.

I'm at 6-7% body fat when I started my cycle 2 weeks ago. I shouldve be more leaner!!!

Gaurentee your no where close to 6%

Dude...can a person survive below 6%? That cannot be healthy.

Most compete at between 3-6%... People always say there leaner than what they r. People will say I got a six pack I'm 8% lol!! I have abs at 12-13%

When potential clients come to me, the first thing I have them do is take a bf% test using the bod pod. If there over 16%, I won't train them nor will I give them any aas cycling advise. I will however sit down with them and go over some short and long term goals to reach a certain bf%. Remember, hitting a bf% isn't means for taking aas. Be healthy first and have a valid reason for doing so.

You wont train anyone over 16%? Do you do specialized training or something? Or you just don't train chubby people?

Healthy can be relative. I know plenty of guys in the Army who are 18-22 percent that can run 5-10 miles at a time with healthy bloods and BP... No gear either

Agreed >> I think 18 - 22 is pretty common for folks who workout hard but diet is off.

I'm sorry, I think that came off wrong... I train people who are looking to compete only. I have a certain profile that my clients have to reach before I will train and take them on and that's if I have the time. I'm very busy with various bodybuilders and just don't have the time to train anyone and everyone.

I hope that doesn't sound snobbish

I used to cycle at over 20% body fat all the time. Not sure it really matters. If you are worried about aromatization then just use an AI.
