The chicken recipe to end all chicken recipies!!!

I think this is a great on. I make it almost every week and seem nevr to get tired with it. It goes great with sweet potatoes.

1 onion soup mix (lipton's)
1 catalina dressing (large bottle)
1 large apricot jam (cheap kind)

20-25 bonless, skinless thighs/or dumsticks

I bake on 350-375 for 1-1.5 hours until chincken starts to brown and get crispy- turn often and don't overcook.

Adjust amount accordinly depending on the amount of chicken you use.

Talk about cooking in bulk! .. A whole bottle of Catalina dressing and a whole bottle of apricot jam.. 😀

I'll give it a try when I get some drumsticks.. lately I've just been eating chicken breasts.

Damn, Darko......thats one mean chicken recipe, you could probably feed a village with those quantities.

I have to say I have never tried that combination of ingredients, It definately looks interesting. I'm not familiar with Catalina dressing, is that russian, french, italian or some else?

The dressing is close to the same as french, but is more sweet than zesty. Take a lot at the grocery store, I am sure they have it. It has a dark orange red color. I go through these preety quick, I will eat 4 drumsticks per meal, maybe three times per day, cooking in bulk is the way my friends.

Flex, only once and it was very good, I have a recipe for chicken brests too, but all the spices gave me too much heart burn, reminds me I never got tired of that one either. I will dig it up tonight and post it soon.
