i posted this on SE as well, so many of you have probably already seen it, but i figured i'd throw it up here too:

i've learned that tuna can actually be quite tasty, straight from the can, if you throw in a few sprinkles of LemonPepper and mix it up.

*note: lemonpepper is also a great steak seasoning!

here's a high call, clean meal. You can make a batch on sunday, and eat it throughout the week:

Brown rice (lower glycemic than white)
Several cans tuna
Tomato sauce
Spices to suit your taste (lots of garlic)

Cook up the rice, then squeeze the water out of the tuna, rinse it good and keep squeezing the salty water out. then when you got it to your liking, mix it in a large bowl with all the ingredients and rice.

Voila! High carb, High protein, low fat goulash.... And with enough spices, you can completely cover the taste of the tuna...lol

Tuna Burgers

1 Can of Tuna in water, drained
1 cup of cooked brown rice
1 whole egg
bread crumbs as binder

Mix the ingredients in a bowl, using just enough bread crumbs so that you can form patties. Fry in a pan like a burger. Tasty alternative....

take two pieces of whole wheat bread and spray both sides with Pam butter spray. It says it has nothing in it. Throw a piece of cheese on it and a can of tuna and fry in a pan like a grilled cheese sandwhich. Its pretty good.

Be VERY careful of the Pam spray. It says it doesn't have anything, BASED on the length of the spray. Isn't it some crazy fraction of a second (like 1/16?). Just remember, it is fat and oil like anything else. The only difference is that it allows the careful user to control how much you really use. Have fun...

This isn't for cutting but:

1 can of tuna/add mayo
spread on 2 hamburger buns
add one slice of cheese on each bun
wrap in aluminum foil
throw in the oven on high for 10-12 minutes

walla, tuna melts.
