I wouldn's see the need to train them twice a week... You are really training them in every upper body movement you do.... so one seperate training routine should be more than adequate......

Supposedly you can train them more frequently like calves. I don't think twice a week would be pushing it too much, but I think T-Spine has a very valid point. This is my philosophy:
Do you like to curl heavy poundages on bicep day? Do you like to pull a lot of weight on back day? The forearms are even stabilizers when you are trying to bench. In my opinion, I think you should wait until a time in the week where you know you will not have any upper body punishment for a while. Try doing bi's the day after a forearm day....its a joke for me. I may as well do legs and wait a day...well its almost that bad. This is another reason why I believe the push/pull training methods are garbage. If you train back/bi's on the same day I would highly recommend changing that. If I hit back first my forearms are fried and bi's don't get the punishment they are begging for and vice versa. I think once a week is adequate, but maybe you can recover faster and twice a week isn't pushing it too much. Thats up to you we don't know how your body responds and recoops.
Hope this Helps,

Jacked

i train mine once a week and sometimes every other week. if i train them i do it on back day. they are already pumped and usually begging for a little more. reverse curls with an ez bar half way up. and wrist curls should always be in there and add twists for the real etched look. i would go more than 9 sets though. unless you do nine sets for other arm movements. i dont' so i train them just as hard as everything else. once a week...

Reps has some pretty freaky forearms...definitely better than mine. You may want to listen to him....his grow like a friggin' weed. They are "Priest Like" forearms....very well develped especially for a 20yr old guy. But being the Priest freak that he is his forearm routine may also be just as freaky!! Reps, Priest is definitely my favorite too....gotta love the short cartoonish type bodybuilders!!! yeah!!
