I was talking to a buddy of mine who swears if you have a lagging muscle area that if you inject in that spot it promotes muscle growth in that area. My calves are not growing at the same rate as the rest of my legs. My favorite spot to pin are my quads and they have grown noticeably in the last 6 months but I have also been training the shit out of them. So jus wanted to know what you guys thought if pinning weak spot helps or not.
There are two things to address here, a muscle looking bigger temporarily because of swelling or stretching, and a muscle actually growing and becoming stronger. I don't think there is much site enhancement from AAS injections, at least none that I have ever used. I have some TNE that seems to stretch whatever muscle I inject it into, creating the appearance of a slightly larger muscle, but, to answer your Q, injecting a "weak spot" will definitely not make it stronger, and it will also definitely not promote and sort of localized muscle growth (no hypertrophy and no hyperplasia).
Your quads grew because of training, food and gear. They would have grown just as much if you had only been injecting your delts.

Supposedly, esterless steroids can increase site injection growth, but esterfied steroids such as enanthate ester will not. Could be complete broscience though...
Oh and btw, whatever you do, don't pin your calves. It is miserable.

hahaha, jesus. I was about to say the same thing.
Ok yeah the guy I talked to said it hurts hella bad but made his grow. I think it was jus a mental thing for him them; if your pinning your calf and then working out good they would grow. Thanks for the help though, glad I didn't listen to him and pin there.
