At 40, I walk energetically for about .5 hour daily and may add a mile or so of jogging. This is my cardio. I dislike treadmills or stationary bikes (have both). Stadium steps would be a great idea, but our local university keeps the gates always locked and off-limits.
What do my bro's in AZland do for their cardio???

I use an elipitcial machine at the gym. I vary the time and level, some days just wide open for 20 mins. and then some days long and steady, like 45 mins.

fav is elipitcial trainers.. usually 30-60 minutes depending upon what type of day I've had.. I usually hate cardio.. but find it helps me keep my head clear and bp in check and if I have a cheat meal or a bowl of ice cream once in a while I can enjoy it because I know I'll be burning it off the next night..

I hate all the cardio machines, they make me feel like a hampster in one of those little wheels. I do my cardio outside, running 5 miles 4 x a week with a monitor. I keep hr between 140 and 160 depending on how I feel.

He is the best cardio and all around exercise. Any Martial artist will agree.

Start standing straight up, do a forward shoulder roll to a standing up position then a backward shoulder roll to the beginning standing up postition. Repeat for as long as you can. Take a break, repeat, take a break, repeat...

My thoughts exactly. Hell, she doesn't have to be 24, 42 is fine with me, if she is a hottie. Nothing beats sex for cardio.

Then again, I seem to swim more often for cardio than anything else. No stress on the old man's joints and sometimes the scenery isn't so bad either.

Elipitical trainer seems the best foe me it gets the heart rate up without pounding the joints. I do like to play a little basketball, but at 37 I hurt for about three days afterwards.
