How many members here compete or plan to compete in bodybuilding. And what are your long term goals in the sport?

i am 21 years old and am doing my second novice show on november 12. it is the sherman show in houston, tx. i plan to compete for the rest of my life. when i am 22-23, i had better be competing in open classes. at the age of 24-25, i want to be in nationals. when i am 26 or 27, i want to at least make it to ifbb amateur status. i have plans to become pro.

bodybuilding is not my career choice. it is the lifestyle i am choosing. for my profession, i am studying to become a pharmacist. this will be my income.

i want to be on covers and layouts in magazines. i want to have the roles reversed. now, i see competitors like ronnie, gunther, markus, kris dim, and others. when i see them, i am admiring them. i want others to admire me when i get to that status.

Do you fellas stay on gear year round? Bio, if I remember correctly your still natural right? When you gonna take the plunge?

I think Im staying "on" until I reach my bodybuilding goals. My short term goal is to qualify for nationals. Long term goal is to place top 5 at the national level by the age of 35 (Im 26 now). i wont get back on stage for another 2 years,by then I should have a more complete physique.

What changes do you guys feel you need to make to your physique to reach your ultimate goals?

I just placed 5th in the Heavy weight class at the 05 Jr Nationals in Chicago. I'll be doing the 2006 Nationals in Miami next.
