thanks for the input guys, apparently everyone has seen one to many overtraining posts and doesn't feel mine is worth the comment. Personally rest days drive me nuts,i feel like a bum even though i know that my body needs it. although with my proposed strategy i would still be taking a rest day or two

why wait till you start to lose what you have worked so hard for....L-glutamine helps prevent overtraining take 10g a day and 1.5 g of protien for every pound...also you will get flu like symtoms...remember,,you dont grow in the gym ,,,you grow when you rest...

Gotta disagree.... You can see gains if not severly overtraining... They just won't be as big and as fast as you would normally gain.... Doesn't mean you will shrink... lol...

Back and legs in the same day is not a good idea, IMHO.... You are trying to have enough energy to properly train the two LARGEST muscle groups in the same day.... WHY?!? Personally, I don't train anything esle on leg day or anything else on back day. Sure you "can"... but something will suffer... if you train another bodypart before back, you will not have as much energy to blast your back.... If you blast your back first, you will be drained and won't be able to blast your other body part......
