Wats everyone's take on eating cold meats during cutting? I know their high in sodium at times, but some aren't that bad?
If it's just one meal I don't mind it. Maybe something like turkey with mustard on whole wheat. I'm sure the nutrition nazis will go crazy here haha

Haha ya that's why I was throwing it out there. But I just happened to look on the back of the pastrami I had and there is 10 grams protein per serving and only 1.5 gram fat and 0 carbs. The only thing that kills ya is the sodium
I love the smoked (Mesquite) Turkey. I use Romain as the bread & deli mustard. Fukin way good bro.
Always tough for me to stay away from
processed foods working on the run and
water retention from the sodium drives up
my BP!
I don't see a problem with it.

Good low carb meal right there
I don't see a problem with it.
I never thought it was a big deal either, but when you read most of the competitors diets there's no mention of cold meats, but it's so convenient
I will eat low sodium turkey a half pound at a time and also I look for meats made without nitrates or nitrites.
I would say if you a cutting for a show stay away! If you are cutting just for the ladies go for it. Girls care about money and abs not veins and striations!!

Not cutting for a show, but def trying to get lean!
People worry way too much about sodium. Man if you like to eat that and the macros fit.. just eat it.

Ya I have been as I haven't seen anything proving otherwise
Nitrates, sodium, and it's just overpriced. Buy a piece of turkey yourself, cook it, then slice or shred it. Just as tasty (if not more), way tastier, and healthier. If you get the turkey breast on sale, we could be talking $2.50 per lb and it'll have more meat instead of water compared to the lunchmeats.
Same with chicken/beef/etc.
