Thanks for the replies, I might do a 16 week cycle with test and equ kicked off with 8 weeks of npp. And save the slin for the cycle after that. I'll read that guys log. Cheers again.

Good to see you made the right call booze. Stories like this one about promising guys with a whole future ahead of them aren't ones we need more of:

They found my buddy Daniel (32 yes old) dead in phx , az. He was abusing slin, had only been bodybuilding less than a year. He had a great job a bright future. Now he's dead.

Fucking guys wanna use slin is beyond me. Eat clean and get on a fucking treadmill.

Best wishes bro. It's horrible to lose a good friend like that.

There really is no use for slin in bbing unless you are competing at an elite level... At least in my eyes there is no reason to take that risk unless you are extremely advanced and have the right people monitoring you I.e. prep coach and doctor

Not that I condone insulin use cause it's kind of unnecessary unless you've reached genetic potential, but it really isn't that dangerous... As long as you're not going past 10-12 iu pwo, and understand the carb requirements on slin, you should be okay. I mean, diabetics across america aren't dropping dead at an alarming rate due to slin usage are they? That being said, if you're irresponsible, haven't researched or don't have the intelligence to create a slin protocol for post-injection, yeah, maybe you're asking to die just like somebody whose abusing heroine 🤔

The only thing that really scares me are slin injections pre-workout. How people deal with the fear of going hypo mid-lift or deal with the insane pumps on top of the insane pumps you get from AAS usage is beyond me.

Im a type one diabetic. A clean and sober one now but back during my drunk junkie diabetic days I cant tell you how many seizures I had or how many times I almost died because I didnt eat correctly around the amount of insulin I was using. Know that many things can effect how intensely your blood sugar will drop.

My first suggestion would be to just stay away from it. I also know that when a man decides to do something regardless of the dangers hes probably going to do it anyway. Someone mentioned getting a meter. Thats a must because you need to be able to gauge exactly how the insulin effects you. A slightly safer idea than some have listed is to (if you choose to use insulin) start by covering each iu of insulin with 15 grams of carbs.

I know multiple type 1 diabetics and we all need different amounts of insulin to cover the same amount of carbs so start high with the carb to insulin ratio and use the meter to adjust from there. Insulin will have a much stronger effect during times of intense physical activity. For instance if Im about to hit the gym Ill use half the amount of insulin to correct my blood sugar than I would if I was going to be in front of the computer. Like mentioned this shit can kill you and is not needed to build an amazing physique. Please dont fuck with this shit. The gains to possible death ratio sucks and this is the only life you get.

Good advice. Unless you're seriously aiming for a pro card, I suggest skipping the slin.

This is probably going to make me sound like an idiot. But I seriously didn't know that pro BBs were using insulin. My question.. why?

I know what insulin is and what it does so please don't lecture me on it (lord knows I've had pancreatic hormone information shoved down my throat enough at university). I just want to know what the real benefit of it is?

It promotes glucose utilization and protein synthesis. It gets glucose and amino acids across the cell membranes to inside the cells for energy and protein synthesis. Thus the anabolic effect, not only in super-saturating the cells with nutrients, but also helping to volumize the cell.

How much weight could one expect to gain with this method?

Pretty simple answer. Look at Arnold and then look at Dorian Yates. He was probably one of the first insulin users who pushed the envelope on size. Probably a 30lb difference there. Both were already well past their genetic potential.

As pieguy mentioned, most of the difference between the pros of the 70s and the mass monsters of today is thought to be because of insulin and GH.

Specifically, the ridiculous hyperplasia that occurs when you slam down HGH with a healthy regiment of AAS increasing protein synthesis with the shuttling power of insulin.
