What are some of youe preworkout meals guys and gals ?

Depending on my WO schedule it can change. Morning workouts eggs an oatmeal.
Other then that typically a dry turkey sandwich, small amount of skim milk, and couple fig newtons 30-45 mins prior to lifting.

99% of my workouts are after work, and before dinner, so I prefer an apple, bowl of minwheats, and a chobani about 30-45 min before I get into it.

I eat about an hour or so before the gym. Doesn't really matter to me what, I just try to keep it low fat. But 20 minutes before i go i love to have an apple not sure why but it seems to make jack3d work that much better.

Ahh, good old Jack3d. You hear it's going to come off the market in its current formulation? Bummer, cause it is a great pre-workout. I have to use it sparingly, though, cause it has a tendency to upset my stomach.

I actually prefer an empty stomach. I feel more focused that way.

I think from an evolutionary standpoint, this makes perfect sense

Same. What motivation does a fed and happy animal have to get food? Hungry like the wolf all the way, baby!

60-90 minutes pre-training I like a large apple and 50 grams of whey isolate. 30-45 minutes pre-training I like 200-400mg caffeine. 15-30 minutes pre-training I like a strong oral steroid.

I have done this for years minus the orals as I take consistent breaks from orals.

My post workout shake which is 2 scoops of whey and a 1/2 cup of oatmeal. 30 minutes later I usually eat some time of meat and a vegetable.

If I wanna push any weight I'll have to eat a minimum of 50g complex carbs, in the winter this can be over a 100g. That usually comes down to 100-125g of rice or oatmeal with a protein source like whey or some eggs. Now when cutting I'll only take a banana about 30min before with some whey.

1.5 hours before lifting I typically eat a couple Tilapia fillets with white or brown rice topped with salsa.
45 minutes prior, double scoop whey protein.
15 minutes prior, two scoops of Jack 3d (Raspberry Lemonade) with couple BCAA caps.
On heavy ab days, I keep the food a little lighter - maybe some fruit or oatmeal.
