Wrist wraps are pretty good. There's also some gloves which have an elastic band to fixate your wrist. I had an accident a while ago which gave me a very weak wrist for some time and it took ages to strengthen up, been using either wrist wraps or gloves with elastic band ever since.

Try wrist curls and squeezing a tennis ball. They will strengthen both your wrists and forearms.

Id advise against anything extra like wraps, straps, etc. and work on strengthening those wrists. Forearm work is going to be the key. Do more dynamic movements with free weights no machines. At minimum your first workout should be the most taxing on those forearms.

Add hang cleans, dead lifts, rack pulls, DB work(this will help isolate each arm and one is not compensating for the other.)

Post up your current workout and let us modify it a tad.

Even though I understand your POV - this was the only way for me to strengthen up my wrist after my injury. I guess it's also to make sure you don't injure it again as you fixate the wrist. In the end it all comes to whether you want to be able to lift heavier at the moment or take your time to strengthen your wrist.

Then lift lighter without straps. A wrist injury and straps means you will most likely re injure. Straps provide too much pressure on one point of the wrist.

Yeah that would be the wiser choice hehe 🙂 I started my cycle just then so I wasn't able to train pressing exercies already for the first 8 weeks.. something had to chance. Wrist wraps were the answer.

This happened to me as well. I tried to use the gloves with the wraps but it didn't to get any stronger. I got new gloves and lowered the weight. Within a few weeks it was much stronger!
