My gym has a staff member around till 6:00pm then its a scan card to get in. After about 10:00pm there's nobody to ask for spot. Its a small gym opened by an old power lifter so its got all the good stuff just not many members. Durind the summer I work between 12-16 hours a day. I know how important sleep is but nothing I can do except tough it out. The crazy hours usually only last 2-3 months. The small gym has its advantages but also disadvantages.

Anabolic5150, you're the man for the info. I really appreciate it. Can we open this discussion up a little more? How can so many people find this so beneficial and there isn't a sticky about Doggcrapp? I've learned of more proponents and supporters of DC lately than of GVT and I find it confusing. Guys, DC... let's talk about it.

I have read a little on DC a while back and I am interested. My problem is I have no training partner and most days its really late before I get to gym(work). So my question is can it be done to the full without a partner? The widow makers on the squats kinda scare me as I have no spotter. I am currently doing a variation of PHAT and had some close calls on heavy days. I'm starting to get good at dumping weights off barbell when I get em stuck. Lol. I know its not the safest way but I have no other choice if I want to train hard. Any advice is appreciated.

Jas I do DC, and I workout by myself. It is possible. Know your limits, check 100% of your ego at the door, and get to work. Keep your log organized and neat so you know what to beat by reps or weight next workout. Never do a window using squats, use a leg press. QUADS ARE THE ONLY MUSCLE YOU DO A WINDOW ON.

It depends, when I did the 2 way split my workouts were anywhere between 45 and 50 minutes.

DC rocks.... Me personally I like to rotate it in to my training as a 'shock', then return to 5/3/1 program. At my age DC is really hard on the CNS, but damn it's effective. Nothing wrong with using machines on this either. All of us hard core guys seem to shun machines, but they do have there place and DC or HIT is one of them.

New here. I am starting a DC Training cycle as well as an AS cycle. I have done DC before and really like it. My issue with it is it is difficult for me to only lift 3 days a week (psychologically, that is). I'm used to a split HST (Haycock's Hypertrophy Specific Training) routine where I'm in the gym lifting 6 days a week.

I know one of you posted that if you think 3 days a week (on DC) is not enough, then you are not going balls to the wall with your training on DC. But, I was wondering if anyone HAS done DC, while on AS cycle, and upped the number of lifting days to 4 or 5 or 6 per week, AND has seen results. AS should help us recover faster, correct?

Thanks!

The most I have saw outlined is 4 days. Go over to intense muscle . com and read their DC section. It will answer any questions you have.

I had a DC routine about a year ago. Good for bulking.

I've been trying to figure out what kind of workout to follow for my first cycle. Sounds like if mass is the goal this is the way to get there. I'm going to read the intensemuscle.com section recommended by nocode. Any other good reads out there? 3 days would fit nicely into the very busy schedule I hold. BTW, you guys really make this forum great. I see your tags ALL OVER the place sharing info, it's disheartening to see posts like that SOK stuff earlier in the thread. Keep up the great work guys, many people appreciate it.
