What do you think it your sweet spot to really throw on the l.b.m.? How many do you get, REALISTICALLY?

For me, 1.75-2 will yield the best gains, but in reality, I'm lucky if I see 1.5

5'9" 190lbs 10.5% bf

I always take in about 350g of protein per day, reguardless of whether I'm bulking or cutting. That's about 1.7g/ lb for me. I'll adjust my carb and fat intake based on my goals at the moment.

1-1.5 grams per lb is ideal for me. Just started dieting again so I'm definitely in this range. Normally I would be lower though.

Wow, these are some pretty high numbers I'm seeing! 1g protein/lb bodyweight is just great IMO.

Do you calculate 1.75 x your total body weight, or do you calculate 1.75 x lbm if you back out your percentage of bf? Ive seen people do it both ways.

2 g per lb. I calculate it to a couple lbs heavier than my lbm, not total weight.

220 lbs, 5'4", %13 bf.

Just out of curiousity, could the guys dropping 2g/lb put up a meal plan for the protein they eat each day? I'm curious to see how much meat/whey you guys are downing to hit these numbers! I seriously can't fathom 450g protein every day.

It's hard to fathom cuz they don't do it on a CONSISTENT bases... It's completely uneccesary UNLESS your prepping for a show MAYBE
